Is it just me, or does the biohazard trefoil bear a striking resemblance to the ‘witches claw’ symbol?
It makes me wonder if someone at Dow Chemical wanted to ensure that another kind of protective seal would be placed on dangerous biological substances in future.
Some fundamentalist Christians think that the Peace Symbol is of occult origin (as we all know the peace movement is full of nasty pagans). The truth however is much more mundane. It is based on notation representing the Semaphore gestures for the letters CND which stand for Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. Boring hey?
